Short Term Goals

My short term goals include:

• To obtain a teaching job for the fall.
• To have a successful first year of teaching.
• To create a safe and effective learning environment in my classroom.
• To contribute to my school and district as a member of the staff by being an active participant in district events.

Long Term Goals

My long term goals are:

• To continue my professional development by taking classes and obtaining my master's degree.
• To become tenured in my school district.
• To obtain National Board Certification.
• To mentor another teacher or intern the way I was mentored.
• To enjoy a long and successful teaching career.
• To make a difference in the lives of my students.
• To raise a healthy, happy family in central Illinois.
