The purpose of the District Instructional Leadership Team is to:

  • Study District Issues
  • Provide Assistance
  • Make Recommendations
  • Enhance Communication by or through:
      1. Creating a climate that promotes trust, collaboration and diversity
      2. Listening and learning, both inside and outside the system: monitoring, interpreting, evaluating, adjusting, and communicating the Strategic Plan.
      3. Encouraging and celebrating risk-taking abd experimentation as a learning tool.
      4. Providing human resources for groups within and associated with the district.
      5. Establishing decision-making parameters
      6. Facilitating the establishment of priorities in the use of resources.

Study District Issues

Participate on a team to conduct an Action Research Project related to one of the five District goals assigned to the D.I.L.T.

Participate on a team (representing Board, parents, administration, staff, community and student) to conduct a quality assurance visit to provide the school with feedback to assist in improvement efforts.
