Currently I am an At-Risk Instructor at Dirksen Primary School , a K-3 building, and a staff developer for my district. I received my bachelor's degree from Western Illinois University in psychology, a Master of Arts degree from Bradley University in educational administration in 1991, and a Master of Education degree from the University of Illinois in Curriculum,
Technology, and Education Reform in 2003.
In 1991 I spent
two weeks in Russia and two days in Budapest,
Hungary, with a delegation of teachers of gifted
children where we visited and taught in schools.
While there I made presentations on integrating
color hypermedia into the curriculum with gifted
students at conferences in Moscow, Novisibersk,
and Budapest, Hungary,
My husband and I
live in Morton, Illinois and we have four children
and one grandson. We are actively involved at
New Castle Bible Church in Mackinaw, Illinois.
I love to spend time gardening, golfing, reading,
and entertaining in my home.
