My "Eggs"-amination Of An Egg

First graders did some "egg"-citing nonprint research in the Learning Center on eggs.  Each student was given a hard boiled egg to examine and fill out a report on.  They had to describe how their egg looked, felt, smelled, and sounded, unpeeled and peeled.  Peeled eggs were cut in half lengthwise and the students then had to draw and label the main parts of their egg.  Finally, the students were asked to take a bite of their egg and describe how it tasted, plain and with salt.  The pictures speak for themselves!
