How Does Your Garden Grow?

 After researching perennial plants in the Learning Center third graders in Mr. Trowbridge's room designed and planted a perennial garden.  With the help of Mrs. Abernathy, Mrs. Crawford, and Mrs. Schlappi they dug up the soil and removed all of the weeds before planting the following perennials:

1 Miss Kim Lilac	3 Annabelle Hydrangeas
1 Pink Butterfly Bush	1 Mixed Columbine
1 Palace Purple Coralbell	1 Cranesbill Geranium
1 Orange Oriental Poppy	1 Red Monarda
1 Shasta Daisy	1 Black-Eyed Susan
1 Purple Coneflower	1 Dwarf Galliardia
3 Pink Phlox	8 Yellow Daylillies

They also planted some annuals - 6 Grape Cooler Vincas.  Fabric was put down and then a layer of mulch.  It was hard work, but as you can see in the pictures below, it was also alot of fun!
