Issues, concerns, items to bring to our attention
|
Participant issuesMr.Everett
informed all that issues can and should be presented at any meeting
on behalf of others. Also, the team could bring others to the
meeting as an audience.

Feedback to SILT Procedures and the Facility
Needs Assessment

by team members.

Dirksen Music Program
|
Team discussed a different location for the program to be held
on Tuesday, December 17, 6:30 PM. Considerations were the BJHS
gym, Hackler Auditorium, and Wilson gym. All were ruled out as
possibilities. BJHS gym had poor acoustics, bleacher seating not
good for young children, and noisy environment. Hackler Auditorium
was ruled out for this year because difficult to arrange practice
sessions there in a timely way. Wilson gym was a future possibility.
It was decided to do the following instead: risers on the stage;
invite parents to dress rehearsal; all children on the stage steps
or main floor; more chairs (total of 500) for added seating; videotape
performance; note to parents about limited seating with a reserved
section at the front for 3rd grade parents.

SILT/DILT Survey
|
Mr. Everett reminded all team members regarding the SILT survey
to be completed by November 27. It could be completed on line.

PDSA Plan and SIP Plan
|
Plans were presented to team members for their review and feedback.
Team members indicated support for the plans.
|
|
Next meeting and Roles
|
Next meeting set for Dec. 18. Mr. Everett will be facilitator;
Mrs. Abernathy will be timekeeper; Mrs. Erickson will be the summary
writer.
