On Thursday night, Edison held its graduation ceremony for the class of 2004. Over the past two years, the class of 2004 have made tremendous accomplishments at Edison. They have set the bar high for future panthers and will always have a home at Edison. Remeber that once your a panther your always a panther, so represent us well at Pekin High. Edison would like to wish the class of 2004 good luck next year at Pekin High School. Thanks for a wonderful two years!!! Click here to see pictures from graduation. EDISON HOST SUMMER OLYMPICS
Last Tuesday, Edison held its version of the 2004 Summer Olympics to finish up the last official full day of school. Students were divided up into seven teams and participated in events ranging from a three legged race to a water balloon contest. Afterwards, everyone was treated to a popsicle to help cool off. Edison would like to wish everyone a safe summer. See you next year!!! Click here to see pictures from the Olympics.

EDISON'S SCHOOL REPORT CARD
The Better Schools Accountability Law requires all public schools to report on the performance of their school and students through school report cards. The reports include information about students, the instructional setting, the finances and student performance.

Caution should be exercised when interpreting the achievement data of smaller schools and districts. Their data tend to be less stable than data for larger ones, because the performance of a handful of students can substantially affect mean scores. Thus changes from one year to the next may be due to the performance of a small group of students.

More information on registration will be posted on the site. We hope everyone has a safe and fun summer break. See you next year.

TEAM 2 TRIP TO CHICAGO
Last week, Team 2 took
their 8th graders to Chicago for their 8th grade trip. During the trip students and staff were treated to scenes from Shed's Aquarium and Navy Pier. Most students thought that the dolphin show and the rides at Navy Pier were the highlights of the trip. Overall, the weather was great and so were the students. Team 2 teachers would like to thank all their 8th graders for two wonderful years and wish them good luck at the high school. Click here to see pictures from the trip.

TEAM 2 STUDENTS OF THE MONTH FOR MAY...
Congratulations goes to Team 2 Students of the Month for May. May students of the month are Jeremy and Danielle. Team 2 would like to recognize these eighth graders for their outstanding citizenship and leadership on Team 2. These two students are outstanding students both in and outside the classroom. Way to go Jeremy and Danielle. Keep watching the site for new students of the month.
