Edison Junior High observed Red, White, and Blue Day at an assembly
in conjunction with our fundraiser kick-off. The students observed
a moment of silence for the victims of the terrorist attacks that took
place on Tuesday, September 11th in New York City and Washington, D.C.
Students led the faculty and student body in receiting the "Pledge
of Allegience" and the "National Anthem." As another
show of unity, the students are donating money to help out the American
Red Cross. The staff will then match whatever the students
donate.
