The Edison Speech Team did an outstanding job at this year’s State Contest. We were the largest team at Georgtowne with an enormous group of parents and family members on hand for the competition!! This team was extremely enthusiastic and the scores show it.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of the parents, grandparents, brothers, and sisters who dropped off team members early in the morning and picked them up late in the afternoons. Your dedication to our program is truly appreciated!! From an "old" speech judge, you all receive firsts for effort. 

To the Team, I would like to say you drove me CRAZY! (In a good way, of course) Thank you for the fun and the memories. I will be expecting great news coming from the High School Speech Team next year, 8th graders. 7th graders, we have a date next September to do it all again.
