How Much Time Do You Need?

A group of seventh grade students at Edison Junior High School took a random
poll over whether there is enough time between classes and how much time
they think is needed. 85% percent of the population at Edison think that
 |
in fact
there is not enough time between classes. 15% percent were ok with current
amount of passing time. 60% of these statistics are from seventh
grade and 40% of these statistics were from the eighth grade. The students
also told us how much time they felt was needed, an average of five minutes.
The problem with that is that the day is lengthened by about 15-20 minutes.
So the logical solution would be to let the seventh grade |
students out one minute before the
eighth grade. Then the seventh grade will get a head start to their next
destination, some of which are in the cluttered eighth grade hallways.

To the
right, is a pie chart that shows what portion of people voted to what
amount of time. As you can see the largest portion is 5 then 4, 6, 8, 7,
then 10. |
