Dead on Wedding

Ridgefield, N.J- Gladys Ricart, 39, was shot dead while
posing for wedding photos, with bridal party and relatives. She was shot
by former boyfriend Agustin Garcia, 47, who was dressed in wedding clothes,
opened a briefcase, pulled out a 38 caliber revolver, and opened fire.
Gladys died of wounds to the head, spine, and upper arm. Juan Ricart, Gladys’
brother, caught Agustin and relatives notified the authorities. Gladys
and Agustin went out for seven years. Gladys broke it off several months
ago when she found her fiancée. Agustin was brought to court and
charged with one count of murder and one count of unlawful possessions
of a weapon. At court Agustin pleaded innocent and says he doesn’t remember
the incident. Agustin’s attorney is telling the judge that Agustin is not
a murderer, but is insane.
