Quayle Drops Out

Vice President Dan Quayle,
presidential runner was forced to
drop out of the 1999-2000/campaign race. Quayle
was a Republican.When Quayle ran out of money he had no choice but to drop
out of the campaign. He says, "I have no regrets about dropping out."
His campaign was on the ropes since August 14th. After his dropping out
of the race he said, "The question in life is not whether you are going
to fall down, but are you willing to get back up and fight for what you
beileve in?" Quayle said ," I was facing a campaign runner with 100 hundred
million dollars to spend." It made the task of him being elected
almost impossible.He quotes " My departure from the presidential campaign
race was the most difficult descion I've ever had to make, but I'm convinced
it was the right one. As I said when I announced my decsion " says
Quayle "there is a time to stay and a time to fold, a time to know when
to leave th stage." Dan Quayle wrote a book and The title is "Worth
Fighting For." He says he titled his book this way because "our values,
our ideas, and our country are worth fighting for."
