Adoption over the Internet? One would think it was easy. Over the past few weeks, four families have found out the hard way that this isn’t true. A few months ago, Tranda Wecker put her twin girls Kimberley and Belinda, up for adoption. The adoption agency put them on the Internet. Two families, the Kilshaws and the Allens, adopted the 6-month-old twins. Now the birth mother wants them back. On January 24th, a St. Louis judge, granted their biological father custody until the predicament is worked out.
Our Opinions:

Erica May: " I believe that when the authorities find out who actually adopted the twins, they should be the rightful parents. The mother gave them up in the beginning, she shouldn’t get them back in the end, even under certain circumstances.”

Felicia Canamore: “I think the proper authorities should reward custody of the twins to the family who can best prepare them for the world ahead and give them the best care and guidance to succeed in years ahead.”

Tamie Walker: “ I think the mother of the twins should get custody of them. She gave the girls up because she could not take care of them. Now she can be a stable mother and take care of
Kimberley and Belinda. The mother deserves them; they would be better off with their birth mother.”

Amy Brown: “ I think the father should have the twins. He didn’t do anything wrong and he is the biological father. He would be able to take care of them and they will be loved. They would be raised in a good family.”

Lynsey Barnard: “I think Ms. Wecker should get the twins back. I think that the mother put her daughters up for adoption because she thought that it was best for Kimberly and Belinda. Now she has a job and a home of her own, so she should get them back.
