All You Need To Know About the Edison Space Camp Mission
We have been selected from 60 students, and we were chosen to be represent Edison, Pekin 108 and the city of Pekin.  We were picked on December 19, 1997.  Over Christmas break Mr. Walker and the other committee members helped the crew get sponsorships for the trip.  After Christmas break we had a meeting telling the parents the reason for the trip, and what we will do on the trip.  The parents then had to sign consent slips for the trip.
From then on every other Friday we would have a meeting.  In our meetings so far we have learned about NASA's history, how to make speeches, how to use Sony digital cameras and how to make web pages like this one.  On February 16, 1998 we recieved an e-mail from Scott Altman, and he told us that the flight was delayed from April 3, 1998 to April 16, 1998.  We are currently finding a company that will give us the best deal for two rental vans. For the latest scoop on the Edison Space Camp check out my new photo page, and my personal feelings in my journal.
