On September 8th, hometown hero and former
Edison student, Scott Altman
piloted the Space Shuttle Atlantis to a rendezvous
with the
International Space Station. Team 7A
honored Altman with a Scott Altman Day.
We watched the launch as a team after school
started and then viewed the
movie October Sky. In the afternoon,
the team broke into groups and spent the afternoon
on a Technology and Learning with Computers
(TLC) activity. Students were split into
groups and they rotated to five different
stations. These stations were:
