In order to help you find the information you are looking for it is important for you to understand the organization of the site. The site is organized in two different ways.

1. The interactive sitemap that is located on the frontpage of the site and also available by the graphic in the upper left hand corner of each page. This interactive sitemap allows you to look for information based on the office or building the information comes from. There are two categories for the sitemap, District Offices and Schools. When an office or school level button is selected the information that comes from those offices or building will appear. Click on one of the information sections and you will be taken to that section of the website.
2. The second organization scheme is organizing the content by category. The categories that are available are those located in the yellow Main Menu on the Staff, Students, Parents, and Visitors pages. When you select a category you then are taken to the information.
   • With the category organization you can also see which office the content is coming from by looking at the bottom of the yellow Main Menu. If the content can also be organized under an office there will be a link back to the frontpage for that office.

Along with the organization there are several tools located on each page that will better assist you in finding the information you wish to see. As pointed out earlier there is a graphic in the upper left hand corner for the interactive sitemap. Every page in the site will have this graphic, so that if at anytime you wish to use the sitemap, it is one click away.

In the right hand corner there is a search box that will search the entire Pekin Public Schools website. Enter a keyword or phrase into the search box and then select Search.

At the bottom of the page there is a small menu that allows you to access several useful pages. The Feedback Form link will allow you to send feedback directly to the Superintendent, Board of Education, or the District Webmaters. We welcome you comments and questions. Next there are links for the static and interactive sitemaps to help you find information quickly. And the last link will take you to the main help page. These links are available from each page of the site as well. Along with the links there is contact information for the District.
