The
Pekin Public Schools website is set up to accomodate
all types of users. Our users are either staff, students,
parents, or visitors. If you would like your current
computer to always remember your user type, check the
box that says remeber my user type which is located
underneath the Staff, Students, Parents, Visitors, and
Schools buttons located on the frontpage.

Once
the box is checked click on the button (Staff, Students,
Parents, Visitors) that best describes you user type.
By doing this, your computer will always direct you
to the assigned page, skipping the main index page.
If you would like to change your user type you can always
click the Remeber/Forget
My User Type button near the top of the Staff,
Students, Parents,
and Visitors pages.
This
option uses what is called a cookie to store the information
neccesary to remember your user type. If you have your
browser set to not accept cookies your browser will
not be able to remember your user type. Your browser
will have to be set to accept cookies in order to use
this option. The setting varies from browser to browser.
NOTE:
This option should not be used on public computers that
have multiple users. |
