| Our
school leaders review school performance relative to comparable
and best performing schools, progress relative to short- and
long-term goals, and the ability to meet changing school needs.
How?
Data
Collection for C
Every
fall, each community reviews the
Illinois Standards Assessment Test (ISAT) results in comparison
with previous years and also in comparison with district and
state scores. Specific attention is given to school performance
(80% meeting and exceeding performance expectations) and implications
that may be revealed. This information is reviewed with district
student performance data. Instructional targets are developed
and become an integral part of the School
Improvement Plan.
Dirksen
Primary School provides like other Pekin 108 schools the district
Standards,
Assessment, and Instruction (SAI) assessment according
to a district assessment cycle—fall, winter, and spring. The
results are reviewed by individual classroom teachers, grade
level teams, and community teams to improve instructional
planning and delivery.
