Rationale of Need Over the past five years, ISAT Reading Test scores have flat lined. Instruction will focus on the two lowest areas on the ISAT Reading test, vocabulary and fluency.

Rationale of Need The current school’s daily schedule does not allow for the maximum use of instructional time.

Rationale of Need Currently, the low income student population at Starke School is 45 %. In order to better meet the needs of those students, we must increase our understanding on the issue of poverty

Rationale of Need In order to meet the high standards of the Lincoln Award for Excellence and improve educational quality, all members of L.E. Starke Primary School need to understand the 7 components for a quality school. Starke School will implement a standardized process to improve educational quality.
