The Jefferson PTA donated
fund-raiser money to the Learning Center for new library books.
Almost 300 new titles will be available for students and teachers
to check out next fall.

librarian at Pekin Public Library visited Jefferson to tell the
children about the summer reading program called Explore the Reading
Trail.

Introducing Jake Matthew
Miller!
Born April 27 at 7:43 a.m.
8 pounds, 19 1/2 inches
Jake is the son of kindergarten
teacher, Jennifer Miller. He is welcomed at home by dad, Corey
and brother, Luke.

The staff from Jefferson
School donated money to purchase a frog for the pond area in the
courtyard in memory of Ms. Susan Guengerich who passed away a year
ago. Ms. Guengerich was the Connections teacher and she was crazy
about frogs!
