ChartObject Writing Support 2-Years at Grade 3

Student scores in the area of support declined. Seventy-six percent of the students scored 4 or better in 2000 compared with 52% in 2001. With the improved scores in focus and constant scores in organization and integration improving scores in the area of support and organization may hold the most promise for increasing overall writing scores.
