- Children were immersed in a language rich environment by using
building blocks, kindergarten word list, journal writing and quality
tools and therefore their writing was increased.
|
- Continue using building blocks methods, kindergarten word list,
journal writing and quality tools, but begin on the first day
of the school year.

- Meeting as a grade level team we were able to brainstorm techniques
that were the most valuable tools in choosing objectives, writing
prompts and students outcomes each month.

- We will continue to meet as a whole grade level team monthly
to revise and reflect, but not focus on themesjust skills.

- Due to our students writing scores we learned that our
weakest areas fell in the areas of support / elaboration and organization
|
- We will continue to collect the students writing data,
but we will all consistently use the 1,2,3 plan and collaborate
using the same writing prompts.
