Leadership Team met on Tuesday, November 12 from 4:30 to 6:30. Debra
and Shelly were not in attendance. Below is a summary of our activities.
- As a warm up we shared Thanksgiving traditions.
- We reviewed the meeting feedback from last month.
- I shared with you a preliminary draft of a parent survey for conference
days. We added four questions to the survey. The completed survey is
attached.
- We went to the learning center to complete the DILT time survey.
- I shared with you the changes in the Quality Assurance visits this
year. We discussed classroom visits and decided that we would like representation
from each grade. We will draw the names at a staff meetingit will
be a random drawing from all staff.
- We talked about the 7 components of a quality school. We will spend
the next two meetings clarifying and making sure we all have a sound
understanding of each of the components.
- We discussed Sheilas request to attend a workshop in January.
Since this was a change in practice it became a full team decision.
We agreed that attendance by Sheila at the workshop would be beneficial
as long as services in the Learning Center were not disrupted.
- There were no issues for parent time.
- We concluded the meeting with a wrap-up and a plus delta.
- Our next meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, December 17 at 4:30We
will look at the first 4 components of a quality school.
