Leadership Team met on Tuesday, October 22. Todd and Debra were unable to attend. Craig Stickling was also in attendance. Below is a summary of our activities.

  • We reviewed the meeting feedback from the September meeting. Tiffany will be responsible for ordering refreshments (both salty and sweet) for future meetings.
  • Craig Stickling shared components of the counseling program. You will never blot your lipstick again without thinking of Craig. Services include counseling, consulting, and coordinating community resources. Suggestions were to involve more students. It was commented that Craig’s recess presence is powerful. Communication was highlighted. Conflict resolution was identified as a group need.
  • We reviewed the action plans developed by the three sub-committees and accepted them as written and revised. Those plans include Communication, Staff Development and PDSA. The plans are included in this summary. As a group we determined that release days would be for the purposes listed below.

  • Create nicknames for classroom groups.
  • Utilize email for classroom newsletters and announcements.
  • Utilize email for school-wide announcements and reminders.
