Wednesday’s are reserved for staff meetings. The first Wednesday of each month is designated as the all staff meeting date. There will be at least one agenda item for this Wednesday meeting. Additionally, the calendar will be reviewed. At this meeting any staff member may post items that are in need of attention or need to be shared with other staff members. The first portion of the meeting will be dedicated to this process. Items that are posted may be decided upon at that time, assigned to a task force or other committee or scheduled for a future meeting.

On Wednesday, when no full staff meeting is scheduled, other meetings or training involving Jefferson staff may be scheduled. You should keep Wednesday clear on your calendar for meetings and training. Other meetings scheduled may include but are not limited to team meetings, grade level meetings, task force meetings, meetings about special students, or ad-hoc groups working on a special project.

Because this schedule of meetings is modest in demand upon time, it may be necessary to schedule additional staff meetings for specific purposes. Every effort will be made to provide early notification for additional staff meetings.

At the beginning of the year it is necessary to meet more frequently to iron out details necessary to the effective functioning of our school. Please reserve the first 3 Wednesday’s for staff meetings.
