What recommendations
do you have to improve shared decision making in your school?
- Only selected people
are 'asked' to serve on Leadership team......parents are hand picked
as well
- Keep staff informed
about leadership decisions
- Better communication.
More honest discussions.

- continue with Leadership
roles and processes that are in place. Communication It is good between
the team members and staff. I am not on the team but I know that the
facilitator always makes sure that everyone is involved.
- To continue communication
between all parties involved so that no one feels decisions were made
before meetings were held.
- Include ALL staff
in decision making and respect and take into consideration all staff
opinions.
- Include all staff
in decisions as well as respect the opinions and feedback of others.
- Be sure to consider
all opportunities and options openly before making a decision.

with who is consulted and with follow-through.

do you have to improve shared decision making in the district?
- None
- Anyone affected
by a decision should be a part of, or represented in the decision making
process.

I don't know anything about it. Maybe the SILT does but I don't
- I think that the
district has made good progress in shared decision making and I hope
this will continue as we get a new superintendent.
