      Goals for task force work:

      • Continue to refine the summer Congress in the Classroom training program.
      • Offer on-site CongressLink training
      • Develop a training program to allow users of CongressLink to share ideas and foster new applications
      • Refine the mentor training program for CongressLink
      • Develop a Pekin Community application to foster interactive discussion and collaboration.
      • Experiment with scaling CongressLink across the curriculum.

 Roles:
  • Learners will participate in civics curriculum activities
  • Teachers will development lesson plans to integrate technological resources into curriculum content.
  • Librarians will help to research information resources for teachers.
  • Reporters will help to identify civics issues at the local, state, federal and global levels.
  • Civic leaders will serve as experts to communicate on-line with learners and teachers.
