Sustainability and Survivability
Networking utilized the use of community members. It
offers a wide network of resources and trainers.
The expanded Website includes information of interest to the community
to increase usage. It continues to show a need for viability.
It also offers vanity e-mail if you become a member.
Entrepreneurial activities include membership drives, selling space, advertising,
and Partnerships. There are weekly 'chat' sessions with the Superintendent
of Schools, global view of technology which includes multimedia, distance
learning, and access to the Internet.
Distance Learning allows them to consolidate their resources, offer new
programs, community classes. These can be across the school district or
classrooms, etc.
This group employs a "Techie Guru" who has been hired as a 'community
liaison'. She is their WebMaster and acts as a 'Clearing House of Information'.
