Family Support Coordinator

Parent: Paige Gibbs

Paige is a lifelong resident of Pekin. She is married and has 2 children, one enrolled in the preschool program and the other, age 2. Paige works part-time and enjoys reading, cooking, and dancing. She is the Treasurer for the Preschool Center's PTA. She feels welcome volunteering in her son's preschool class regularly. Please feel free to contact her at the school for more information on how you can become more involved in your child's education!	Meetings The group is led by Cindy Worner, District 108 NCLB Coordinator and CO-facilitated by Jan Osterman, Family/Community Educator for the Preschool Family Education Center and Julie Sullivan, Assistant Teacher at Edison Jr. High School.
	Planning Planning for children transitioning from Pre-K to Kindergarten through "Kindergarten Round-Up" is currently underway. Watch for details to come home with your child in the Spring!
Parent Involvement The coordinators have been working as a group as well as individually with their school principals to develop a plan for Parental Involvement at the academic level.
