Description

Demonstrate the following skills:
  1. Cold boot computer (Turn on/off)
  2. Warm boot computer (Ctrl, Alt, Delete)
  3. Use basic mouse functions (point, click, double-click, drag, and right-click)
  4. Use pull-down menus and toolbars
  5. Run, quit, and switch between applications
  6. Create, save, and retrieve files and folders
  7. Perform print operations
  8. Use proper shut-down procedures
  9. Utilize login network procedures

DOCUMENTATION REQUIREMENTS:

Complete a Tech Academy Windows class OR Demonstrate skills to a Windows Expert.

Novice

Able to perform SOME skills without assistance

Proficient

Able to perform ALL skills without assistance

Expert

Able to perform ALL skills without assistance AND willing to mentor and teach
