Data Collection for A

Edison has a very defined School Improvement Planning process orchestrated by the SIP Committee and the administration. Since the Edison Retreat on August 28, 2000, the PDSA (Plan, Do, Study and Act) process has been our blueprint. Key steps involve the data gathering from the previous year, evaluation of that data, setting a new or revised goal, planning the fall retreat, data collection training, development of an improvement theory, testing of the improvement theory, evaluation of the data gathered and the process. Adjustments are made and the PDSA process starts over again. Supporting materials follow:
