Census 2010

8th grade students in Mrs. Faichney's and Mr. Norman's social studies classes completed units on the upcoming census.  Students created advertisements to persuade citizens to participate in the census taking place in April 2010.

 

Human Battleship

7th grade students in Mr. Williams' Team B social studies class demonstrated their knowledge of coordinates in an activity entitled "Human Battleship." This was one of many activities in their geography unit.

Geography

Students in Mrs. Garrison's and Mrs. Robertson's social studies classes have been completing lessons on geography. They had fun painting paper mache globes.
