PBIS is a nationally recognized behavior management program. This program has been chosen by the State of Illinois as the best behavior management system available.
PBIS stands for Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports. The program focuses on improving the schools ability to teach and support positive behavior of all students. It is a proactive and systematic approach to the prevention and response to classroom discipline issues. The emphasis of the program is on maintaining safe environments where teachers can teach and students can learn.
