Schoolwide Title I Plan for 04-05

A.J. discussed that we will have schoolwide Title I status next year. There are numerous requirements in order to have this status, and Cindy has helped our SIP team develop a plan that will meet these requirements. A.J. passed out documents outlining the procedure. These included flowcharts for the overall plan, and formative flowcharts for each grade level (2nd and 3rd are combined).

The C. B. Smith ARC (At Risk Committee) flowchart also was looked at and discussed. This program was developed by Wilson over the last four years, and all schools will implement it next year. A. J. explained the differences between ARC and STAT and said that STAT will still exist, but only after a child has gone through ARC. In addition to the flowchart, SILT members looked at the At-Risk Committee Rubric that will be used next year. A. J. will be introducing the Schoolwide Plan and ARC to the staff next week.
