- Cindy brought up the School Improvement Plan after discussing with the SIP team. Writing is different at each grade level. We need to look at what we need for our writing goal at each level.
Cindy explained that we are going to create flowcharts for each of the different writing processes. From this, we will determine what we need to work on during second semester.
Dr. Cindy Toll may come to do specific inservices to address our needs. We can target a few areas and work on them. The Cohort will also be discussing this process. This could be a multi-year process.
- We will be using our grant money to pay for consultant fees, substitute fees, and other inservice expenses.
- WE will have one staff meeting before Christmas. Cindy would like to have staff meetings for 2-3 grades, first grades, and Kindergarten in separate meetings.

November 29 – District Grade Level Meetings 3:30 p.m.
December 5 – First grade 7:30 a.m.
Dec. 6 Pre-K. and Kindergarten 3:20 p.m.
- Cindy shared the new Community Services listing of agencies to help children and families. SILT members will explain to colleagues about the pamphlet. Teachers are to have these during conferences in case any such information is needed. This is a great list of resources. Cindy will put copies in teachers’ mailboxes.
