It is vital that any day your child will be absent or late to school, you contact the school to notify us of the absence as early in the day as possible. It is our responsibility to contact parents of "unaccounted" students as soon as possible.

With today’s current climate, the safety & well being of our children must be a priority. By reporting your child’s absence or tardy to the school office before 8:30am you reduce the number of absence calls we must make, and allow us to concentrate on students who truly may be unaccounted for.

Please make sure to call the school office at 477-4714 if your child will be out of school or late to school for any reason. You may leave your message on voice mail at any time, day or night, however, please make sure to leave your child’s name, teacher name, and reason for the absence.

By following this simple rule, we will all be honoring our responsibility to keep the children of Starke School safe.

Thanks to all Starke students for their overwhelming participation in this year’s fundraiser.

Our participation level was almost 100% and the hard work put into selling and delivering items, as well as collecting proceeds was evident by this year’s totals.

We would also like to thank the Starke School PTA for the time and effort that they put into this fundraiser to benefit all of the children of Starke School. The PTA is currently investigating playground options for the future and will keep you posted as this important project develops.

Thanks again to all students who participated in the Starke School fundraiser to make our school a better place.
