Did you know Mr. Ealey, the principal of L. E. Starke School, used to be a social studies teacher? He recently jumped back into the teaching role to share his book on Merriwether Lewis, William Clark and their awesome adventures while they explored the Louisiana Purchase. Second and third grades enjoyed hearing about these brave explorers and their journey with the remarkable Sacajewa before they traveled to the Peoria Civic Center to see the musical production.
