SAFETY FIRST!!

Please use the following safety guidelines to help keep our children safe.

· Please do not park in the circle drive area. This area is to remain clear at all times, especially from 8:15-9:00am and 2:45-3:30pm.

· Please make sure that your child is dressed appropriately each day. We do have outdoor recess unless conditions are extreme, so please keep this in mind when sending your child to school.

· Any time you enter the building, please make sure to check in at the school office and obtain a visitor’s pass. Please be prepared to show picture ID if necessary.

By following these guidelines you will be playing an important part in keeping our children safe and secure here at Starke School.

Your cooperation is greatly appreciated.

IMPORTANT UPCOMING DATES

The Starke Holiday Program will be held on 2 separate evenings again this year. Kindergarten & 1st grades will perform on Monday,

December 9 and 2nd & 3rd Grades will perform on Tuesday, December 10.

Performances are from 6:30-7:30pm, but we are asking students to be here 15 minutes prior to their performance All performances will be in the Starke School gym. We welcome all family members and special friends to this exciting event & look forward to seeing you.

We will also be having special drawings to benefit our PTA projects on these evenings & Santa’s Secret Shop will also be open for shoppers on these two evenings .

The Starke School staff would like to take a moment to express our gratitude and appreciation for all of the wonderful

volunteers from parents and grandparents, to all of the other dedicated individuals who help our school run smoothly.

These committed volunteers are an important part of our school and their devotion to our students and school is

invaluable.

As we take a moment to appreciate all of our gifts this season, the precious gift of your time is among the most important.

This holiday season, Starke School will be collecting items such as children’s hats, mittens, gloves, warm socks, & scarves for donation to local children.

These much needed items will be donated to

worthy children in the Pekin area. Your assistance with this project is very much appreciated. We hope you and your child choose to participate, and we ask that you please begin sending the above mentioned items after the Thanksgiving holiday.
