PTA officers in attendance: Karen Frazier, Stacy Snoble, and Shelly Bastean.

Others in attendance: Marj Oesch, Sandy Morrow, Denise Rendon, Tami Hyatt, Wendi Watson, Mrs. Legge, Mrs. Heffren, Nancy Brenneman, Melissa Flier and Len Ealey.

The meeting was called to order at 5:30.

Shelly Bastean submitted the Treasurer’s Report and collected receipts for various re-imbursements.

It was decided to have the students of the school sign a piece of paper containing a "thank you" message which will be copied and sent to the families making donations to the playground fund.

Equipment installation is set for April 29. Volunteers are needed to help assemble the equipment.

The Rummage sale is April 26. Several people will meet at Karen Frazier’s house to sort items on April 21 and at the school April 25 for the final set up.

Nancy Brenneman reported that a check for around $400 will be received for the Boxtop collection and many labels have been collected and "banked" for merchandise. Mrs. Smith’s class was the overall winner for the year and will receive a pizza party.

Kathryn Beich has been chosen for the fall fundraiser and will kick-off October 6 and run through October 20. Prizes and incentives were also discussed.

The week of May 5 is teacher appreciation week and several people volunteered to bring treats Monday – Thursday and a catered luncheon will be provided May 9.

Denise Rendon reported the Funding Factory ink cartridge recycling program has earned about $160 for the year.

May 6 is Open House.
