PTA Minutes

December 11, 2002

5:30 –6:30 p.m.

PTA officers: Stacey Snoble, Karen Frazier, Shelly Bastean, and Heather Sciortino were in attendance.

Others in attendance: Mr. Ealey, Marj Oesch, Sandy Marrow, Melissa Flier, Denise Rendon, Chris Underwood, Sue Stone, and Jackie Steger

The meeting was called to order by 2002-2003 Co-President Stacey Snoble.

Shelly Bastean submitted the Treasurers report.

*Mr. Ealey announced that our target dates for playground installation are March 29^th. And April 5^th.

*Made close to 600.00 on this year’s Christmas Raffle (Great job Melissa and Chris).

*Label and Boxtop competition going very well.

*Club’s Choice summary: we still have about 327.00 of unpaid items-Shelly will get Heather a note to have Len send home with the children who have unpaid balances.

*We need to contact local dentists to get donations of toothbrushes for Santa. Everyone will check with his or her own dentist.

*Upcoming events: February 13^th-Family Game Night

March 13^th, Family Reading Night.

*All school rummage sale will take place April 26^th.

PTA Secretary will give PTA minutes to Marj to post on the Starke website and to school secretary to post PTA Happenings in school newsletter.
