PTA officers: Stacey Snoble, Karen Frazier, Shelly Bastean, and Heather Sciortino were in attendance.

The meeting was called to order by 2002-2003 Co-President Stacey Snoble.

Shelly Bastean submitted the Treasurers report.

*PTA Co-President Karen Frazier announced that Starke students sold $21,300.53 worth of Clubs Choice products for our 2002-2003 fundraiser. Hopefully, we will have enough money to purchase the new playground equipment for our playground.

*Shelly Bastean will order new playground equipment approved by Mr. Ealey with Cambell soup labels.

*Reminder that Popcorn Day is next Friday, October 18^th. Thank you to Mrs. Rendon who cleaned out the popcorn machine. Mrs. Hyatt is in charge of Popcorn/Pencil Day.

*Nancy Brennemann has volunteered to lead up the Cambell Competition that will take place between classes.

*Fall Festival activities were finalized and Marj reported what each class is responsible for doing. She also reported where each activity will be located.

*Members signed up for half-hour time slots to sell tickets for Fall Festival. Karen and Stacey will be calling other PTA members who volunteered to help on October 24^th.

Karen will call ARMARK to check on prices for refreshments for Fall Festival.

*Chris Underwood and Melissa Flier will be in charge of the Christmas Raffle.

*All school rummage sale will take place April 26^th, if anyone would like Karen Frazier to store their "goodies" in Karen’s basement please contact her.

PTA Secretary will give PTA minutes to Marj to post on the Starke website and to school secretary to post PTA Happenings in school newsletter.
