PTA Meeting- November 10, 2003
- Those
in attendance: Karen Frazier, Sandy Morrow, Wendi Watson, Rhonda Miller,
Brad Hoff, Amy Dickey, Julie Shultz, Mary Bernell and Shelly Bastean.
- The
treasurer’s report was reviewed.
- The
Katherine Beich fundraiser was a success.
We did not meet our goal but did have a large enough order to get
the jukebox to be shared by all.
Total sales- $17,369.00.
- T-shirts
have been sent home except for those that are gifts, which will be handed
out at conferences.
- Volunteers
are needed to set up and work at the Christmas raffle. Options were discussed for finding
volunteers.
- Christmas
candy grams will be available for order soon. Teachers prefer not having gum on any future candy grams.
- Student
directories have gone home and we have extras for purchase in the office
for $3.00. Anyone that did not
receive his or hers should send in a note.
- Sandy
is checking around for the best deal on the marquis for the front of the
school. We will get the final OK
before purchase from Mr. Ealey.
- Starke
families are invited to attend the Bradley men’s basketball game on
January 17th. Tickets
can be ordered through the school for $5 for adults and $3 for children.
- Santa
is needed for school Christmas parties on December 19th. The Dickey family is donating
toothbrushes for Santa to hand out to the students. Thanks!
- Shelly
will be calling Santa’s Secret Shop volunteers to schedule work times and
putting up the classroom sign up sheet in the office.
- The
next meeting will be held on December 1st at 5:30 in the
learning center.
