After the treasurer’s report, the fundraiser was discussed. The eight orders that have not been paid were turned in to a collection agency.
Teacher appreciation week is May 3 – 7.
Teacher appreciation Thank You gifts are in the works. They will tentatively be put up during the spring break. We need a volunteer that enjoys painting to help finish them. Call Karen Frazier or Wendi Watson if you are interested.
Bergners Community Day will be February 28th. Coupon booklets are on sale at the office. PTA members may sign for extra books to take and sell. The entire $5 goes to the PTA to be used for the students! We will also sell coupon booklets at Bergners on The 21st and on the day of the sale.
The new and improved Reading Night will be held on March 25th from 6 to 7:30pm. There are some fun activities in the works for that night including a station where parents can find info on helping their children at home.
Open House is Thursday, February 12 from 6 to 7:30pm. Come and see what the students have been working on.
The sign for the front of the school is done and will be up very soon!
Tyson foods now have "Support Your School" labels. Save them and send them in. They can be exchanged for money to help the school.
The next meeting will be held on March 8th at 5:30pm in the learning center. See you there!
