PTA Minutes for May 10th, 2004
- Teacher Appreciation Week went well. The teachers and staff enjoyed the food and appreciated the pencil signs in the halls.
- Fun Day
will be on June 3rd. The teachers and the PTA are planning many fun activities. Volunteers are always needed and appreciated. Please let you child’s teacher or a PTA officer know if you are willing to help on that day.
- Box Tops and Soup Labels
were collected all year. The school earned money and was able to order items with points from the soup labels. The latest items that were received – 2 megaphones. They are a great help on the playground! Also, Nancy has done a wonderful job (Thanks Nancy!) However, she will not be at Starke next year. We will be looking for someone to take over for next school year.

- March Japan
- April Australia/NZ
- May Hawaii
We will work with Mr. Ealey and teachers to coordinate PTA sponsored events so that they compliment the theme.
- Spirit Wear
will be available to purchase at registration in August. There will be a new T-shirt design to go with the theme.
- Registration
is scheduled for August 10 and volunteers are needed. Please send a note or call Mrs. Galvin in the school office if you are available to help.
- Fundraiser for 2004-2005
will kick off on September 10th.
- Fall Meeting
will be on August 30th at 5:30 in the learning center. Parents/guardians, grandparents, teachers, and school staff are welcome!! Please join us as we plan special events that will make the school year a little more exciting and special for the Stars at Starke School.
