| Accelerated Reader |
|
Marj saw Accelerated Reader in action at Sunset last week. Accelerated Reader is very well received Sunset both by students & teachers. Sunset is experiencing great success with the program. Books are leveled so they are appropriate for each grade. It is also possible to cross-reference this software with the existing books we have in our Learning Center. The group agreed that this would be a worthy purchase for PTA. |

| Issue Bin | No | Preview math materials by grade level are
in the Learning Center. The Math Committee has asked all teachers
to preview these materials. We ask that teachers examine these materials
during their half day plan time next week, if not before. Letha,
Carol, Marj, & Vicki will be the leaders for their grade levels.
Chuck Bowen will be sending a survey out for your opinions on these materials
in the near future.
Boundary Study-Primary boundaries are currently being
studied by a committee. In January, 2002, Perry Soldwedel will make
a recommendation on boundary changes to the school board re: primary schools.
