| Budget | Budget issues were the focus of this SILT meeting. | Teacher budgets for the 2001-2002 school year will remain the same as this school year. Nine teachers and the Learning Center budgets are subsidized with re-allocated textbook and instructional supply funds. Please remember that the re-allocated textbook funds do not roll over from year to year. Enterprise money (bake sale, field trip) does roll over from year to year. | Mr. Link |
| Ink Cartridges for printers | Provision of printer cartridges | The problem of providing printer cartridges to classroom teachers was discussed. Title VI money, PTA funds have been used to help out with these items, however, ink cartridges are always in need and quite expensive. The possibility of classroom teachers spending part of their budget on these cartridges was discussed, perhaps with the Learning Center buying one cartridge for each classroom, and with classroom teachers paying for their second cartridge and any thereafter, with their funds. All team members agreed that two options are do able: 1) Teachers use money left in their budgets and purchase cartridges for next year's budget and the Learning Center will provide the rest as the budget allows. It was agreed upon that if any reallocated textbook money was still available we would use it to purchase a supply of cartridges. | Mr. LInk,Classroom teachers, and Learning Center |
| School Improvement | Increasing funds | Mr. Link requested we increase funds from $3000 to $4000 and increase funds for school improvement substitutes from $2500 to $3500 for the 2001-2002 school year. Mr. Link's goal is to get these additional funds from rollover money left from the current school year. All team members were in agreement. | Mr. Link |
| Budget | Budget for next year. | All members were in agreement that at this point in time all other allocations will remain the same for the 2001-2002 school year. | SILT |
