"Who's been sleeping in my classroom ?"

Our kindergarten classes had an exciting week of "night time" activities. The students enjoyed reading and comparing several " night time" books like "Franklin in the Dark", "There's A Nightmare In My Closet", "There's Something In My Attic", "There's An Alligator Under My Bed", and "Where The Wild Things Are". These talented, future stars acted out the sequence of "The Napping House" by Audrey & Don Wood and created a lotus on "Things You Do... to get ready for bed". Their culminating activity was a "night time" slumber party in the classroom. The students came equipped with their PJ's, robes, slippers, pillows, stuffed animals, and a flashlight.
