Quality Assurance is a process by which schools in
Illinois present evidence to assure that their processes
and results meet state standards. They are recognized
with a DOES NOT MEET, MEETS OR EXCEEDS distinction.
The rating is based on criteria recognized by the
state. A school can use Illinois State Board of Education
criteria or criteria from the Malcolm Baldrige Quality
Educational Performance Excellence. The criteria for
our district and school assurance portfolio is modeled
after the Malcolm Baldrige National Award for Performance
Excellence and American Society for Quality (ASQ)
Koality Kid Alliance. The Baldrige Award consists
of seven core values that measure the effectiveness
of systems and processes within an organization.
