Federal Programs

Title I – Buy remedial instructional software, train Title I teachers to use technology with students

Title II – Support professional development using technology to teach math and science, creating innovative instructional practices

LC2000 – Create, expand, and sustain a technological initiate that connects students, classrooms, schools, and the district with the community and the world

 

State Programs

Block Grant – Support Tech Academy, curriculum development, creating innovative instructional practices

Gifted – Purchase software used in the Connections Program

Goals 2000 Planning Grant – Align technology, curriculum and District wide improvement efforts

 

Local Initiatives / School Improvement Plan

CivicNet – Provides high-band width connectivity among all school in Tazewell Co., ICC, and Bradley University

School Improvement Plan – Use word processing and structured writing programs to improve 3rd grade writing scores,

TECH and RAP Curriculums – address the six essential learnings with respect to the overall curriculum

Subject Area Studies – Each subject area task force integrates technology when aligning district benchmarks with the Illinois Learning Standards
