Netiquette
 

For the most part the Internet is open and friendly. There is also responsibility for having the access to the World Wide Web. There are some rules of Netiquette.

Rules of Netiquette
1) Never give out personal information such as your home phone number, home address, or your full name. First names only are the best

2) Be cautious about email messages. Tell your teacher immediatly if anyone asks you for detailed personal information or attempts to meet you secretly

3) Always give credit in your bibliography to anyone whose work you use.

4) Treat other online users as you would like to be treated. Handle school computers like you would your own: with respect and care.

5) Protect your password and your Internet Driver's License Card. Keep the information to yourself, and never loan it to another student.

6) While oline, stay focused on the topic you're researching. The Internet is an excellent educational resource and should be used responsible

7) Ask for help from your teacher if you're having problems. Write down error messsages that appear when you navigate online.
